Metro Boomin’ and Future have released their second collaborative album, We Still Don’t Trust You on April 12. This comes after their first release in March 22.
The newest release contains 25 tracks with two disks and has surprise features from artist such as The Weeknd, J Cole, A$AP Rocky, Lil Baby and more. The track listing is: “We Still Don’t Trust You,” “Drink N Dance,” “Out of My Hands,” “Jealous,” “This Sunday,” “Luv Bad Bi—es,” “Amazing (Interlude),” “All to Myself,” “Nights Like This,” “Came to the Party,” “Right 4 You,” “Mile High Memories,” “Overload,” “Gracious,” “Beat It,” “Always Be My Fault,” “One Big Family,” “Red Leather,” “Intro,” and more.
The album appears to seep with many disses to Drake as The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, and Future have all sent shots towards the Toronto native. Weeknd dissed Drake in the song, “All To Myself” where he said the lyrics: “They could never diss my brothers, baby/ When they got leaks in they operation/ I thank God that I never signed my life away/ And we never do the big talk/ They shooters makin’ TikToks.”
A$AP Rocky sent shots in the song, “”Show of Hands” where he says, “Call up Pluto, Metro, should’ve put me on the first one/ N—as in they feelings over women, what, you hurt or somethin’? / I smash before you birthed son, Flacko hit it first son/ Still don’ trust you, it’s always us, never them/ Heard you dropped your latest s–t/ Funny how it just came and went.”
Future himself came for Drake in the records “Nights Like This,” “#1 (Intro),” “Nobody Knows My Struggle,” and “This Sunday”. The overall album proves twice that Pluto and Metro harmoniously can put together a very strong body of work and flawlessly translate their creativity into each single on the album.
