DDG Releases New Album ‘It’s Not Me It’s You’

DDG has just dropped his latest sophomore album entitled It’s Not Me It’s You Friday that features 12 tracks.  The album also contains features from artist such as Gunna on “Elon Musk,” NLE Choppa and Polo G featured on “9 Lives” and “Love Myself” featuring Kevin Gates.

The latest single that has received a video treatment is “9 Lives” and previously before, “If I Want You” that guest stars his girlfriend Halle Bailey.

It’s Not Me It’s You comes after his 2019 debut album Valedictorian. Check out It’s Not Me It’s You below:

Nicki Minaj Takes The Rolling Out Loud Stage With A Bang

Rolling Loud New York 2022 had many top headlining artist to cover for the three-day festival. Some of those artist included Future, Lil Baby, Chief Keef, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert and many more.  Nicki Minaj was also a part of the headlining artist where she fufilled Friday’s spot on the main Fashion Nova stage.

Her set made her the first female rapper to do a solo headline Rolling loud. She performed many of her classic hits such as “Did It On Em,” “Itty Bitty Piggy,” and “The Way Life Goes” with Lil Uzi Vert joining her on stage.

During another part of her performance, she performed a rendition of “Feeling Myself” and later brought out BIA where they rapped their verses to “Whole Lotta Money.” Minaj then brought out G Herbo for their collab “Chi-Raq.”

Closing her set, she chose her singles “Starships” then “Moment 4 Life.” Check out her set below:

DaBaby Admits To Sleeping With Megan Thee Stallion

DaBaby is telling it all on his latest project Baby On Baby 2 where he has stated in the song “Boogeyman” that he had gotten intimate with Megan Thee Stallion. He is heard rapping about sleeping with her multiple times days before she announced that Tory Lanez shot her.

“You play with me that s– was childish / The day before she said that Tory Lanez shot her, I was f—in on Megan Thee Stallion / Waited to say that s—t on my next album/ Hit it the day before too / But I kept it player,” he rapped.

He also addresses her current boyfriend Pardison Fontaine where he speaks of Pardi tweeting him.

“I ain’t say nothing ’bout it / Had her pretty boy boyfriend tweeting me, ready to die ’bout the b—- like a coward/ I told you n—as don’t play, now you gone have to handle me / I poked the muthaf—in’ bear, I’m a animal.”

Megan and DaBaby had previously been very tight, up until DaBaby did the song “Skat” with Tory Lanez and she felt he picked a side. DaBaby’s current LP project contains 14 tracks and is a follow up to his 2019 Baby On Baby that delivered singles such as “Suge,””Goin Baby,” and “Baby Sitter.”

Future Sells His Publishing Catalog Of 612 Songs

It looks like Atlanta rapper Future has signed a major deal with selling his catalog of 612 songs that he has record since 2004 through 2020 to company Influence Media Partners. The deal includes songs such “Mask Off,” and his features on songs such Kendrick Lamar’s “King’s Dead,” Drake’s “Life’s Good,” “Jumpman,” Rihanna’s “Selfish,” and The Weeeknd’s “Low Life” and more.

Speaking with Variety, Future says:

“I put everything into my music, and I wanted to make sure these were in good hands as I thought about the next chapter of these songs. I’m proud to partner up with Rene and the team at Influence Media and send a signal that this music has timeless value. My music is my art, and these songs represent some of the most precious artwork of my career.”

This news comes after it was announced that Kanye’s publishing had been sold, to which he himself has shut down the rumors and claimed it as false and stated that someone is illegally selling his catalog.

Nicki Minaj & Bleu Drop ‘Love In The Way’ Visuals

The visuals to “Love In The Way” are finally here and Nicki and Bleu have definitely given fans what they would love to see.

The video features the two dressing to the nines in royal garb and Nicki sitting upon her thrown, which was a ode to Black Panther’s Chadwick Boseman and the franchise.

The song has just dropped last Friday where Bleu says the song is “a beautiful song, that will live forever.” The video features nothing but black excellence and beauty and makes sure to give black women their roses in the same breathe.

Lil Tjay Release ‘Many Men’ Freestyle ‘Faceshot’

Rapper Lil Tjay is literally taking a page out of a book of 50 Cent and has just released a freestyle entitled “Faceshot.” He posted to Instagram a picture of him and 50 where he first teased the “Many Men” freestyle.

On Saturday, the New Jersey native finally released it but not without a mock cover of 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin‘ album cover with his head on 50’s body.

Nicki Minaj and Bleu have officially dropped their single together entitled “Love In The Way”. Both have teased the song’s upcoming release with a promo photo of the two for the cover art. Nicki posted to Instagram her excitement for the record in the stories saying:

“This song I just did with Bleu [smiling emoji]”

“Baby, your love in the way (My way) / But don’t stop it, just keep doin’ what you do / How could I move with your love in my way? (My way) / It hurts to love again, and it’s all because of you “ Bleu sings in the hook.

Nicki opens the song with lyrics such as:

Today, BET announced the nominees for the 17th annual “BET HIP HOP AWARDS” 2022 honoring the past year in hip hop music across 17 categories, selected by a voting academy of esteemed music industry insiders. Hosted by Grammy®-nominated recording artist, actor, entrepreneur, and media personality Fat Joe the “BET HIP HOP AWARDS” 2022, will tape from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, GA, on Friday, September 30 and will premiere Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 9 PM ET/PT on BET.
