Future Speaks On Marriage & Relationships

Sitting down with Billboard, Future discussed a variety of topics with those including the subject of marriage. When asked about his take on why he isn’t married yet, he opens up with his reasoning of how he imagined his life.

“If I was married, at home with my kids, man, it’d be way different. That’s a life I never lived. It’s something you dream about. That’s one of my dreams. It’s easy for other people, but for me, it’s just like, man, this rock star lifestyle, it don’t gel well. For even creating music, I just feel like I’m missing out on something if I don’t make the music a certain kind of way. I really dedicated my entire life to my fans. I dedicated my entire life to my music. Everything that I love, everything that I got, I put it in music. And the outcome is yet to be determined, still to this day.”

He also further gives his viewpoint on if he is capable of having a successful marriage and what it would take, along with discussing how others around him want him to be tied down more so than he himself does.

“When the time’s right, it’ll happen. It ain’t nothing that I’m really chasing. But I do dream of it, and I do want it. I swear I’d probably pick the wrong girl or something, if I was just chasing it. You never know how certain things happen with relationships and with love and getting married and being under the same roof as your kids and you got other kids that are not living with you. That’s just a whole ’nother lifestyle that I haven’t even got a chance to live. But I understand that it’s something I would love, and when the time presents itself, then I know I’m going to be prepared. I want to make sure I just live that to the fullest. But I don’t really think about that s—, like having a wife and s—. But I want a wife. Everybody around me wants me to have a wife more than I want a wife.”

Just recently, his ex fiancé and child’s mother, singer Ciara has opened up about their split in 2014 and how she had to navigate afterwards.

“I told myself I’ve got to figure out how to navigate in the next chapter of my life. All the things I was aspiring to have at that time, even thinking about love, I was like, ‘It’s going to happen when it’s supposed to.'” she detailed.

The two split after speculations of infidelity from Future proved to be true. The last known relationship that Future has been in is with rapper and model Dess Dior.

T ravis stayed on the stage for a hefty amount of time where he had performed his songs “Goosebumps,” “Antidote” and “No Bystanders”.

There had been a bit of controversy in regards to Travis being a headliner as the venue did not want a repeat of Astroworld, but then later clarified and mentioned that it had more so to do with conflicts of scheduling.

Kanye West Drops Out Of Rolling Loud Performance

As weeks come close to Miami’s Rolling Loud weekend, it looks like the highly-anticipated performance from Kanye will not be happening. The Hip Hop festival shared the news, but as far as the reasoning as to why Ye backed out of his performance is quite unknown.

“Due to circumstances outside of our control, Ye will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022, Please welcome @KiDCuDi” Rolling Loud tweeted on their page.

Within that same tweet, the festival reveals Ye’s replacement for the slot and announce that it will be Kid Cudi. This marks the second festival that Ye has dropped out of as he was set to perform for Coachella back in April but ultimately The Weeknd replaced that slot. Cudi replacing Wests spot may not go well with him as the two had a falling out back in February after Ye was upset between Cudi being extremely cool with his ex-wife’s boyfriend Pete Davidson.

Rolling Loud Co-founders spoke to outlet Pitchfork where they addressed the matter, saying

“We were looking forward to Ye headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022. We spent months working with him and his team on the performance. Unfortunately, Ye has decided that he will no longer be performing. This is the first time a headliner has ever pulled off our show and though we don’t take it lightly, we wish him the best. We look forward to welcoming Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami and we can’t wait to see what he has in store,” Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingler said in the statement to Pitchfork.

Artist such as Kendrick Lamar and Future will headline days for the fest and rappers such as Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Da Baby, City Girls, 2 Chainz, Don Toliver, Latto, Fivio Foreign, Moneybagg Yo and tons more will be hitting the stage for their own slots.

If keep that same energy was a person, it would be Ciara and Russell Wilson. Upon Super Bowl weekend, the two were spotted at Drake’s show at The Pacific Design where other celebrities such as Cardi B, Offset, Lizzo, Teyana Taylor, and Jack Harlow were also in attendance.

Knowing Drake, he and rapper Future are extremely close and given that’s the case, Drake surprised everyone by bringing him out on the stage. Catching the hint that Future was to be a surprise guest, Ciara and husband definitely exited the show to avoid seeing his face.

Ciara and Future were once engaged, but their relationship ended when Future cheated on Ciara and went on to have multiple children. Since their split, the two have not been on amicable terms.
