Rapper Polo G has just been arrested in New York City for Gun possession after a loaded gun had been found within his hotel room Wednesday by cleaning crew. The gun had been registered under his name and birthdate.
The incident took place at the Dominick hotel in Manhattan where police were called to the location and arrested the rapper.
He had officially been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Criminal Possession of a Firearm. The NYPD had also released a statement via XXL, where they stated:
“On Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at approximately 1209 hours, police responded to a 911 call for found property at 246 Spring Street. Upon arrival it was reported to officers that there is a firearm at the location. An individual was placed into custody at the location without incident.”
As of now, there are no more additional details. Outside of legal issues, Polo G had been teasing his upcoming album, Hood Poets that will be released this year.
