25-year-old rapper Rod Wave had been recently arrested in Manatee, FL after he was reportedly charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The weapons were found on his person and from there he had been taken into police custody.
After his arrest, his attorney, Bradford Cohen has released a statement via XXL in regards to him being arrested where he says: “He was wrongfully arrested, he is not a convicted felon, he committed no crime and the responsible parties for this sham arrest will be held accountable. The Judge already immediately released him without requiring a bond.”
Just this past fall in September, Rod had released his latest album, Nostalgia and went on tour from October to December. Since then he had been quiet and to himself.
