Today in court in New York, Judge Michael Gaffey has denied Jonathan Majors’ motion for dismissal of assault conviction. This comes after the December 18th verdict that left Majors with a guilty verdict.
Now with the sentencing moving forward, Majors will now be scheduled to move forward with the April 8th sentencing where he faces up to 1 year in jail. Previously last month, Grace Jabbari sued him for defamation and Majors responded that there will be a counterfilling against her being sent.
Of his charges he received one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment.
