NLE Choppa recently “chopped” it up with The Shade Room where he spoke of a variety of things, including his latest release “Shotta Flow 7 (Remix)” Featuring Lil Mabu and his beef with Blueface.
When speaking on his beef with Blueface, NLE shares how they went from working on the first “Shotta Flow” to nearly beefing and getting into a boxing match.
“We both was coming up, we both was hot. He dropped his music, I dropped mine we both blew up in the 2019 timestamp so it makes sense to get him a part. He was like big brotha and I was like little brotha and it made a whole lotta sense,” he details. “How I go into dissing him? It’s just a friendly war going on, it’s just a response to him mentioning me in the Barbie song. I really couldn’t just like let nobody just put my name in a song without responding. I just hate that he in jail right now because I pigged off the music and if he was home so we could keep crackin’.”
Speaking of the boxing match that the two was supposedly to have, he says that the flyer was fake and wasn’t appropriately set up.
“Is he scared of me? No. Am I scared of him? No. Do I wanna box him? I mean it’s whatever, but the faceoff he posted it wasn’t a real flyer and he also knew that he had violated probation so I really don’t understand what was the point of him posting knowing he had to go to jail. But I’m not tryna say cuz is scary, and I don’t wanna fight him, I’m just saying I don’t know if it was an attention-grabbing thing,” he detailed.
He further shared,“If I wanna fight and we wanna box, I’m gonna do it the right way. Like if we boxing I wanna make sure that we could get paper view sales I wanna make sure we can damn near do it in Vegas cause if we was to fight that’s a big moment.”
He also went on to share that he will not be collaborating with Blueface on any projects moving forward due to his domestic violence history, and how he had “man to man” talks with him about domestic violence. He also shared that he would not also collaborate with Chrisean Rock either who he says also asked to jump on “Shotta Flow 7” to which he says he “respectfully declined.”
“So, when it comes to, would I do music with Blueface? Me, personally, I just wouldn’t do it because that’s the part I don’t respect. I don’t really respect people who just put their hands on women physically to assault them.”
