Beyoncé Makes History As The First Black Woman With Top Country Song On Billboard Country Charts

Congratulations to Beyoncé as she has broken a record as she has became the first black woman to have topped Billboard’s Country charts. This comes with her latest release, “Texas Hold ‘Em” that has debuted at number one on the charts.

Her single, “16 Carriages” also charts at the top 10 as it debuted at number 9. As for the Billboard Hot 100, both records have made it to number 2 and 38.

Just during the super bowl this year, Beyoncé announced that she was “dropping new music” during her Verizon commercial, which later alluded to her next album, Act II.
