Boxer Devin Haney has just been cleared from gun charges stemming from July 12 where his vehicle had been pulled over due to an unsafe lane change along with failure to signal. During the stop, Devin Haney’s security detail who had been driving gotten out and LAPD discovered a semi-automatic under the driver’s seat.
Due to the car being in Haney’s name he was arrested for felony possession of a concealed weapon on July 13 where he was booked and released on bail for $35K. L.A. District Attorney have noted that Haney’s case had insufficient evidence during his court case Thursday.
Speaking with ESPN, the DA’s office said in a statement: “The case involving Devin Haney was declined on July 27 due to insufficient evidence.”
