Singer The Weeknd is building up his acting portfolio as he is set to star in a new film, this time starring Jenna Ortega. In the upcoming film, The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye has IMDB credits of the film where he has credits as a co-writer.
Ortega herself too will act as executive producer alongside Trey Edward Shults. Tesfaye previously starred in his HBO series, The Idol as Tedros, in which the series received a lot of controversy behind it in the dark in depth story of a pop star’s rise to fame and stardom.
He had also previous starred in the 2019 film, Uncut Gems playing himself in the film.
