Richard Kanka, whose daughter, Megan Kanka had inspired the Megan’s Law is quite unhappy over the recent release of Megan Thee Stallion’s song “Hiss.” Back in 1994, the law had began after his daughter, Megan Kanka had been murdered by a sex predator and the mention of the law in the new song has Kanka feeling disrespected in the manner that Megan Thee Stallion brought it up.
In the song, Megan rapped the lyrics:
“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan, these hoes mad at Megan’s Law”
According to TMZ, Kanka labeled the song and mention as “disrespectful” and even though he states that she shed light of the law, it doesn’t sit well with him. He also further stated that he is considering looking into legal action against the song and is currently exploring his options.
