Actor Christian Keys has recently opened up about his experience of being sexually assaulted by a “powerful man” in the Hollywood circle. He took to social media to detail his experience of what he went through.
“I want to be transparent with y’all about that. I’ve done my best to forgive this person, but it happens. It happens,. It’s not just women that have to deal with it. It’s also men sometimes. Men tempting men. That’s why a lot of my posts over the last years have been about taking the scenic route.” he shared.
He continued, “The good news is that they don’t even have to believe me. Hopefully they do, but if they don’t, they can hear this person. Since the sexual harassment started, I’ve carried many recorder devices on me: keychains, pens, thumb drives, all of the above.”
The discussion trended on X formally known as Twitter as many social media users either came to his defense or questioned his statements. Though he hasn’t admitted to who exactly this man is, many users have seen that based on his liked Tweets, he has ruled out Tyler Perry.
Keys has recently starred in show All The Queen’s Men and had previously starred in move, What’s Done In The Dark.
