As of recently, allegations had been made against actors Will Smith and Duane Martin where an old by the name of Brother Bilal had made the claims on Tasha K’s show Unwine With Tasha K that Smith and Martin had engaged in sexual acts together and that he “walked in on them” while they were in the act. Coming on The Breakfast Club Jada Pinkett Smith had cleared the air to deny the rumors and has stated that she and Will will be pursuing legal action against the individual who spread the rumor.
“Let me just say this, it’s ridiculous, right? And it’s nonsense.” Pinkett-Smith stated. “And this is a person that tried a shakedown, a money shakedown that didn’t work.”
“We’re gonna take legal action because it’s one thing to have your opinion about somebody, versus just making up salacious, malicious stories. So, that’s actionable. So we gone roll with that.” she details.
She goes further to say: “It’s based around this person’s idea that they, in some way, were doing business around Will’s book, and that they spent money, or what have you, and that they needed to be compensated. So he already tried to do this money shakedown,” she said. “Will was willing to give him a certain amount, and he didn’t take it. So, this whole situation is based on that. Like I told you, we ‘bout to take legal action.”
A spokesperson for Will Smith had also spoken to PEOPLE where he has denied the situation from taking place. “This story is completely fabricated and the claim is unequivocally false.”
