Jeezy has just released his latest album titled, I Might Forgive…But I Don’t Forget. This marks the first album that he has done since his 2023 album, The Recession 2 and is considered to be his 13th album.
The album contains 29 records as it is a double-sided album and contains no features as it is solely Jeezy. Many fans and listeners have been buzzing specifically about his record, “Don’t Cheat” where he raps:
“tell me you gon’ hold it down baby girl ’cause this s–t ain’t for the weak/ Nah, real n—as don’t cheat/ I be out here getting paper while you sleep/ Once again, ’cause real n—as don’t cheat,”
This comes after the news of Jeezy and Jeannie Mai’s divorce after the two have been married for 2 years. Within a statement he wrote:
“The decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and comes with a heavy heart. Despite this, my love and respect for Jeannie remains and the time we spent together holds a cherished place in my heart.”
He continued, “Our beautiful daughter is the best gift from our relationship, and I am committed to assuring she feels the love and stability she deserves. During this period, I kindly request that you respect our family’s privacy as we focus on healing.”
Outside of the album Jeezy has recently released his memoir, Adversity For Sale that had quickly became a New York’s bestseller.
