Mogul Jay Z has finally given some insight in the long lasting debate on whether a person should take lunch with him or take $500,000. His answer is simple; he urges for people to take the money.
Speaking with CBS’ Gayle King, Jay Z went into detail of why people should take the money.
“You gotta take the money. What I’mma say?” he simply stated.
He also went in further to share that he has already given so much knowledge in his music and for a smaller price people can listen to it.
“Because you got all that in the music for $10.99. That’s a bad deal. I wouldn’t tell you to cut a bad deal. Take the $500,000, go buy some albums and listen to the albums. It’s all there.” he explained.
He concludes with, “If you piece it together and really listen to the music for the words, for what it is, it’s all there. Everything that I said was going to happen, happened. Everything that I said I wanted to do, I’ve done, and there’s the blueprint. The blueprint — literally — to me and my life and my journey is there already.” He says of his albums The Blueprint.
