J Cole has appeared on Drake’s latest album, For All The Dogs where he spoke of the talks about him and NBA Youngboy’s supposed beef. The Greenville native went on the record on “First Person Shooter” to state that others have spoken on a non-existing beef.
He raps the lyrics:
“N—as so thirsty to put me in beef / Dissecting my words and start lookin’ too deep … I look at the tweets and start suckin’ my teeth I’m letting it rock ’cause I love the mystique / I still wanna get me a song with YB/Can’t trust everything that you saw on IG”
He clearly states that he is still down to do a record with YB. This also comes after YB expressed his frustrations on his song “F–k the Industry Pt. 2” with him and J Cole being set to do a record but it never had happened due to conflicting schedules on Cole’s end.
He rapped:
“J a ho, that n—a played it cold like he was gon’ do a feature / So I texted his line a muscle sign, I swear it’s gon’ be nice to meet you / P—y n—as tryna close the door”
