In the case of Sergio Brown and his mother’s death, the former football player has been arrested after he had been missing for three weeks. He has just been taken into custody where authorities believe he has something to do with his mother’s death.
The case began when family members of his reported that he and his mother were missing on September 16 and where Illinois police found his mother, Myrtle Brown deceased by the home they shared. Her death had been investigated where coroners believe it may have been a homicide as a result to “multiple injuries due to assault.”
After news hit of her death, Brown went live on Instagram where he claimed it “was the FBI” as he stated he was on vacation and that he had been “kidnapped” twice by the Maywood Police. As of now, the situation is ongoing and he has yet to be officially charged.
