Miley Cyrus has recently opened up and shared details between her and her marriage to Liam Hemsworth. On TikTok, she recently posted a video of her discussing the topic.
She shared that she had to “slow” down and “discuss something serious.” She also shared that the foundation of their relationship.
“Me and Liam’s commitment to being married, of course came from a place of love first because we had been together for 10 years, but also from a place of trauma and just trying to rebuild as quickly as we could,” Cyrus expressed. Â
She further shared how after the Glastonbury show, she knew it was over.
 “The day of the show was the day I had decided it was no longer going to work in my life to be in that relationship. That was another moment where the work, the performance, the character came first,” she spoke.
Continuing she said: “I guess that’s why it’s now so important to me for that not to be the case — that the human comes first.”
Liam filed for divorce in August 2019 with their divorce finalizing in 2020.
