Judge Decides To Terminate Michael Oher’s Conservatorship With The Tuohy Family

In recent updates within the case between Michael Oher and The Tuohy family, it looks like a judge has granted Oher to be free from the conservatorship. A judge in Tennessee had ended the legal agreement where Oher’s finances had been controlled by the Tuohy family.

The legal agreement had been in place when he was 18 years in 2004 as he lived with them and attended high school. The judge Kathleen Gomez expressed her disturbance of the conservatorship being in place at all where she says she had never seen in her 43-year career a conservatorship agreement over someone who was not disabled and noted that the conservatorship should have ended long ago.

Both sides were present via video call but did not speak but were in agreeance to the motion to terminate the agreement, but Oher’s other claims will be addressed and further sought out.
