In the sentencing that took place at the Los Angeles courthouse today, Judge Herriford has decided to sentence rapper Tory Lanez to 10 years in prison. This sentencing comes after the trial that took place back in December 2022 where he was found guilty.
Of the years he has received, 6 years are accounted for assault, while 4 is for gun charges.
After the sentencing, Lanez spoke of how he “still cares for Megan dearly to this day” and how they grew a bond over the loss of their mothers. He also spoke of sharing secrets he shouldn’t have and said “immature things.”
As far as his sentencing carrying, the DA stated that he will more than likely serve 85% of his sentence and pushed this as a lesson for men who commit crimes against women.
