Kai Cenat Breaks Silence After Union Square Incident

Kai Cenat is speaking out for the first time since the incident that took place last week in Union Square where he had anticipated giving away gift cards and PS5’s to fans and those who attended. Within the event, thousands of individuals flooded the area to which resulted in him being charged with a felony of first-degree riot, causing public injury and damage along with two misdemeanors of inciting a riot and unlawful assembly.

He has gotten online to share his thoughts of the outcome where he says he is “disappointed” in the outcome of things.

“I’m beyond disappointed in anybody who became disruptive that day. I had good intentions for this whole thing and none of that was my intention.” he said to viewers.

“I want people to know that none of that was my intention, you feel what I’m saying. I had good intentions for this whole thing and none of that was my intention, bro. Not only that but I don’t condone any of the things that went on that day. None of that was cool. It was never my intentions for things to happen the way it happened.” he says.

“Ever since I’ve started everything like this it has been my dream to want to give back to the community that made me who I am. After Friday I’ve come to realize the amount of not only power but influence I have on people.” He notes of giving back and of the massive amount of fans he has.

“We all have to do better, from the citizens of New York to the police, everything’s gotta be treated with equal respect.” he says of planning for future events and doing this the right way.

As of now, Cenat is due in court August 18th.
