Lil Baby Announces ‘It’s Only Me ‘Album Release Date & Drops Single & Video ‘Detox’

QC rapper Lil Baby is kicking into high gear amid his upcoming album release, It’s Only Me. He revealed the title, cover art and release date on his Instagram page.

The album is expected to drop on October 14th, with Lil Baby stating that it’s been ” a long time coming” and that he’s “coming harder and harder” this time around.

It’s Only Me serves as the follow up from his previous four-times-platinum 2020 album My Turn that produced heavy hits such as “Woah,” “Emotionally Scarred,” “All In,” “Sum 2 Prove,” “We Paid (featuring 42 Dugg),”and “The Bigger Picture” .

He also just dropped his latest single entitle “Detox” along with the visuals for it where it features a Baby in a boxer setting as he prepares for a huge battle.

Outside of preparing for the album release, Lil Baby and Chris Brown just wrapped on their One of Them One’s tour and Baby released his documentary via Amazon entitled Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby. He also will be performing tomorrow in Greenville, SC at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena with Coi Leray, Nardo Wick, Toosi and Skully set to perform as well.

Kendrick Lamar Releases ‘We Cry Together’ Video Featuring Taylour Paige

Kendrick has done it again with emulating a story through his music and video as he showcases the typical toxic couple scenario in his latest video “We Cry Together”. The video stars actress Taylour Paige as she plays his counterpart as the two are a couple from out of Los Angeles.

The two argue the whole sum of the video, hurling many curse words at one another with the toxic energy until they do a little explicit making up at the end.

“F— you n—-, you love a pity party, I won’t show up / Always act like your s— don’t stink, motherf—–, grow up” Taylour screams within the song.

“S—, this the type of s— couples do? / Shoulda thought about cuffin’ you, b—-” sounds back towards Taylour.

The video’s runtime spans in a matter of 5 minutes and 42 seconds as it is something of a short film and is directed by Jake Schreier, Dave Free and Kendrick Lamar himself.

Nicki Minaj Drops Video To ‘Super Freaky Girl’

The well awaited video to “Super Freaky Girl” is finally here! Nicki took to twitter to tease its arrival, but it looks like she dropped it with a quickness.

The video exudes every bit of Barbie themed with a hint of nsfw play along with a hint of some psycho all the while of having fun and giving props to Rick James. The video features her “Ken” actor Alexander Ludwig, who is known for his role in the Vikings.

Just recently, Nicki had dropped a surprise project entitled Queen Radio that will feature a compilation of songs she has made over the decade such as “Fly (Featuring Rihanna),” “Truffle Butter (featuring Drake & Lil Wayne),””Itty Bitty Piggy,” and “Moment 4 Life (Featuring Drake)”.

Latto Drops ‘It’s Giving’ Music Video

It’s giving, finally released as southside rapper Latto has released the video to her hit song “It’s Givin'” and it surely exudes boss b—- behavior all throughout the video. Latto is seen wearing a black business-like body suite, along with a look that donned a grey business like cutout top.

In the video we also see successful women such as Skai Jackson, Halle Bailey, Angie Martinez, Angela Simmons, Slick Woods, Flo Milli and Ella Mai as all the women are in an office type setting. The single comes from her latest album 777 that popped out singles such as “Energy,” “Energy (Remix) with Mariah Carey,” “Wheelie (Featuring 21 Savage),” and “Soufside”.

Eminem & Snoop Dogg Perform ‘From the D 2 The LBC’ At The VMAs

Eminem and Snoop Dogg have came together at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards to perform their single “From the D 2 the LBC.” The performance was a different experience as it was presented to MTV audience as the rappers performed using NFT avatars inside upcoming Yuga Labs metaverse project Otherside.

The video features scenes of Em and Snoop in the studio with vivid coloring and a many different scenes their avatars find themselves in. “From the D 2 the LBC” makes the first single between the two rappers since 2000 when they collaborated for the song “B—- Please II.”

The video “From the D 2 the LBC” had ran in the category for Best Hip Hop VMA.

Lizzo Hits The VMAS Stage & Addresses Haters

Lizzo hit the MTV VMAs stage and gave the crowd a performance they could remember. She oozed such swag and self love that the performance as she performed songs such as “2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)” and some of her song “About Damn Time”

During the show she says she could address the comments made over the weekend from Aries Spears, but chosen not to and instead takes a line from Beyoncé’s “Formation” where she said:

“They be like, ‘Lizzo why don’t you clap back? Why don’t you clap back?’ ‘Cause, b—-, I’m winning, hoe! Big b—-es is winning, h–! Best revenge is your paper, b—-!”

While accepting her award in the video for good category, the 34-year-old “About Damn Time” singer thanked fans for “supporting me and loving on me” before calling out her critics.

This comes after Aries Spears made horrific comments that likened her body to a poop emoji.

“And now, for b—-es that got something to say about me in the press. You know what? I’m not going to say nothing.” she stated while accepting her award for Video for Good for her song “About Damn Time.”

Later on her Twitter account she posted her speech where she writes, “🗣KEEP MY NAME IN YO MOUF CUS I KNOW IT TASTE GOOD B—- 🏆”

Jay Z Clears The Air On Any Beef Between Meek Mill On Song ‘GOD DID’

Jay Z has hopped on his good friend DJ Khaled record “GOD DID” to spit some major bars addressing many things all while bringing some good heat. In the record, he speaks on a variety of things such as being an advocate for criminal injustice, his journey to success, and also makes it clear that he and Meek Mill are good.

Me and Meek could never have beef/ I freed that n—- from a whole bid” he rapped.

Many thought that there may have been bad blood between the two after Meek decided to part ways with Roc Nation after 12 years of being a part of the team, but all appears to be well and Meek explained his reasoning in why he left the company and signed with WME.

Lil Tjay Releases New Song & Video ’Beat The Odds’

Rapper Lil Tjay continues to persevere after being shot seven times over the summer as he has just released his first song since the incident. He announced on Instagram that the video would be released on Friday at midnight and dropped the trailer for it.

“ If I won’t quick to blow I would be in the stars rn….“😪🙏🏾 #BEATTHEODDS OUT NOW 😤🔥🔥” he quoted in his latest post on Instagram, promoting the video.

The song showcases the shooting he encountered in Edgewater, New Jersey back in June as the cover art for the single, show Tjay wearing a medical neck brace. The self-directed video includes footage of him recovering in his hospital bed and of him rapping in a hospital room

The song also includes a bit of audio from the 911 call made on the day he was shot . Check out “Beat The Odds” below.

DDG Drops New Music Video ‘If I Want You’ Featuring Halle Bailey

Rapper DDG has just dropped some new music along with an accompanied video entitled “If I Want You.” The music video features his real life girlfriend and singer Halle Bailey. The video shows DDG going for a swim at night along with riding around in the car until it cuts to him and Halle in the bedroom.

Halle also provided background vocals as heard throughout the song and the two made sure to showcase their level of deep intimacy with an intense eye lock.

Just recently, Halle spoke to Essence of how “in love” she is with DDG:

“I’ve been a fan of his for years. I grew up being on YouTube and would always see the young Black creators and was constantly inspired by them. He was one of them.” 

The new record comes as one of many of the tracks DDG has released this year as he has put out the singles “Elon Musk” featuring Gunna, “Stay In My Circle,” and “Storyteller.” Check out “If I Want You” above.

Takeoff & Quavo Drop New Single & Video ‘Big Stunna’

The new duo Unc & Phew have released some new material by the name of “Big Stunna” that unironically features Birdman. 

The two previously released their other single “Hotel Lobby” back in May, along with putting out “Us vs Them” featuring Gucci Mane in June.

Outside of Takeoff & Quavo, Offset has also released some new songs entitled “Code“ and “5 4 3 2 1“ which had many further questioning the future of their group Migos. Quavo had recently spoke about the state of Migos in GQ Hype, where he said

 “It was all about Migos, Migos, Migos. The three of us. I feel like every group member has to establish themselves. Their own body of work. If not, you start losing members.”
