Quavo & Takeoff Release Album ‘Only Built For Infinity Links’

The highly anticipated album Only Built For Infinity Links is finally here. The album dropped at midnight on Friday, October 7th with a hefty 18-tracks filled with body of art.

The album has features from artist such as Young Boy NBA, Young Thug, Gunna, Mustard, Summer Walker Mustard, Birdman, and Gucci Mane. The new duo previously released the records  “Hotel Lobby,” “Nothing Changed” and “Big Stunna” months leading up to the release.

Speaking with Complex, the two shared where they got their inspiration from for the album’s name as it derives from Raekwon & Ghostface Killa’s 1995 album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.

“One night, we’re out at a little sports bar, and Raekwon walks straight in the building. So I went up and talked to him and just let him know that we appreciate what he’s done for the culture and what he did for us as a group, and that as we branch off as a duo, we’re still following in his footsteps. We asked for his blessing, and he was with it and said he loved what we did. It’s been genuine ever since.” Quavo says of their inspiration.

The album offers top tier hits that emulates the duo’s sound while giving a crisp and clean cut listening experience to listeners and fans. Staying true to their sound, the duo bodies each individual track with putting their stamps of heavy hitting bars and keeping with one another’s punchlines.
