Young Dolph Honored On Anniversary Of Death

Late rapper Young Dolph has been honored by his favorite hometown cookie shop, Makeda’s Homemade Cookies where they have paid homage to the rapper and sold dolphin shaped cookies today. The shop included photos of Dolph around and had a DJ playing some of his records.

The shop had also decorations with a dolphin with his name and employees also wore shirts that included his picture. The shop had been closed down for nearly a year until opening two months ago after repairs were made from the damage that had been done.

On November 17 2021, Young Dolph had made a pitstop at the infamous shop where he had been gunned down by at least four suspects and had been tragically shot. His wife, Mia Jaye has spoken on today where she spoke on her Instagram saying:

“Though God allowed you to be taken from us on this day, we will forever honor you on this day and carry out the loving, giving, heart and spirit that you walked in for 36 precious years… the world will be reminded on this day to pay it forward, be kinder, give to those in need… your spirit will continue to walk before us all. We love and miss you… #DolphDay 🙏🏾🐬💙”

Future Speaks On Marriage & Relationships

Sitting down with Billboard, Future discussed a variety of topics with those including the subject of marriage. When asked about his take on why he isn’t married yet, he opens up with his reasoning of how he imagined his life.

“If I was married, at home with my kids, man, it’d be way different. That’s a life I never lived. It’s something you dream about. That’s one of my dreams. It’s easy for other people, but for me, it’s just like, man, this rock star lifestyle, it don’t gel well. For even creating music, I just feel like I’m missing out on something if I don’t make the music a certain kind of way. I really dedicated my entire life to my fans. I dedicated my entire life to my music. Everything that I love, everything that I got, I put it in music. And the outcome is yet to be determined, still to this day.”

He also further gives his viewpoint on if he is capable of having a successful marriage and what it would take, along with discussing how others around him want him to be tied down more so than he himself does.

“When the time’s right, it’ll happen. It ain’t nothing that I’m really chasing. But I do dream of it, and I do want it. I swear I’d probably pick the wrong girl or something, if I was just chasing it. You never know how certain things happen with relationships and with love and getting married and being under the same roof as your kids and you got other kids that are not living with you. That’s just a whole ’nother lifestyle that I haven’t even got a chance to live. But I understand that it’s something I would love, and when the time presents itself, then I know I’m going to be prepared. I want to make sure I just live that to the fullest. But I don’t really think about that s—, like having a wife and s—. But I want a wife. Everybody around me wants me to have a wife more than I want a wife.”

Just recently, his ex fiancé and child’s mother, singer Ciara has opened up about their split in 2014 and how she had to navigate afterwards.

“I told myself I’ve got to figure out how to navigate in the next chapter of my life. All the things I was aspiring to have at that time, even thinking about love, I was like, ‘It’s going to happen when it’s supposed to.'” she detailed.

The two split after speculations of infidelity from Future proved to be true. The last known relationship that Future has been in is with rapper and model Dess Dior.

Megan The Stallion Receives Temporary Restraining Order Against 1501 Certified Entertainment

Megan Thee Stallion has been granted a temporary restraining order against the record label after it was stated that the label blocked her from using her song from her latest album Traumazine, “Her” to promote the upcoming AMA’s show.

According to PEOPLE, she was granted on Monday due to the court discovering “evidence that irreparable harm is imminent to [Megan]” if the company persists in blocking her music to promote her career. Her lawyers filed documents to help her case in regards to her being able to use her song “Her” for the show where he states that with the song’s block it would “negatively impact [Megan] as an artist.”

He continues, “To be sure, there is no good reason I can think of as to why 1501 is behaving this way—and this is not the first time. I believe 1501 may simply trying to object to the use of Pete’s music to be used in promotional content leading up to the AMAs because Pete and 1501 have been engaged in contentious litigation for over two and a half years, and 1501 simply wants to harm Pete’s image and career.”

Megan is currently nominated for favorite female hip-hop artist at the American Music Awards that will take place on November 20.

Megan and 1501 have currently been in an ongoing legal battle for two years in regards to Megan wanting to be released from her contract.
