In the latest of the Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin, Future and J Cole Saga, it appears that today an unreleased Drake Diss Record has surfaced. The supposed track was titled “Push Up (Drop & Give Me 50)” and is said to be a leaked response to Kendrick, Metro, The Weeknd and others.
Many social media users had speculated that the track itself was something produced by AI, but according to several outlets the track is unreleased but has been confirmed by Spotify promoting new music from Drake with the quote “Hip-Hop is a competitive sport” and follows up with “Drake is on the way”. The leaked version released online and within the song, it is clear that Drake took shots at K.Dot and Metro while sampling Biggie’s “Get Money” in the beat.
Drake is heard saying lyrics such as:
“How the f–k you big steppin’ with a size seven men’s on? / ” Drake raps. “Extortion baby, whole career you been shook up / ‘Cause Top told you drop and give me fifty like some push-ups, huh”
He also aims at Kendrick when he said:
“You better do that motherf—in’ show inside the bitty / Maroon 5 need a verse, you better make it witty / Then we need a verse for the Swifties / Top say drop, you better drop and give ’em fifty / Pipsqueak, pipe down / You ain’t in no Big Three, SZA got you wiped down / Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down / Like your label, boy, you in the scope right now/ And you gon’ feel the aftermath of what I write down”
He called The Weeknd out in the lyrics:
“Y’all n—a manager was Chubbs lil’ blunt runner / Claim the 6ix, and you boys ain’t even come from it / And when you boys got rich, you had to run from it / Cash blowin’ Abel bread, out here trickin’ (Out here trickin’) / S–t we do for b—-es he doin’ for n—as (What the f–k?)”
He also adds: S–t’ll probably change if your BM start to kiss and tell / Hugs and kisses, man, don’t tell me ’bout no switches /I be rockin’ every f–kin’ chain I own next visit,” he raps aiming towards Weeknd again and also to A$AP Rocky.
For Metro Boomin’ he says: “Metro, shut your ho a– up and make some drums, n—a”
Just on Friday, Drake posted a cryptic message to his Instagram stories, maybe alluding to all the beef.
