Reality stars Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley have both appeared in Atlanta court Monday where they met before a judge and were both sentenced after being convicted for bank fraud and tax evasion after being found guilty back in June. Todd had been sentenced to 12 years in prison, and Julie Chrisley had been sentenced to 7 years along with 16-months of probation by judge U.S. District Judge Eleanor Ross.
The couple had been on house arrest since June of this year and were facing many more years than given. They had been indicted back in 2019 where prosecutors stated that the couple had frauded banks out of millions of dollars.
Prosecutors said the couple took out $30 million in fraudulent bank loans to aid in their luxurious way of life and extravagant spending well before appearing in reality television.Follow Us
