Jussie Smollett Returns To Acting, Set To Star In Upcoming Film

Jussie Smollett has had a few rough years dealing with the case of falsifying a hate crime in Chicago in 2019. He was sentenced to 5-months in jail, but his legal team was able to get him released a week after the sentencing. Now though, it seems the actor is able to pick up and begin working on new projects as he will be featured in an upcoming movie, according to TMZ.

Smollett was seen with producer Mona Scott-Young in NYC to discuss the film entitled B-Boy Blues that will be featured on the streaming app Bet+. Mona shares that the film will be centered around “a heart-warming bromance”

Jussie had started shooting for the film back in 2019 but had been delayed due to the whole case. Currently, there is no info on when the film will be released on BET+.
